In September 2016, Trump Jr. tweeted an image of a bowl of Skittles with a graphic that asked the question, "If I had a bowl of Skittles and I told you just three would kill you".

As documented in an exhaustive Politico investigation in January, a Ukrainian-American consultant to the Democratic National Committee (DNC), Alexandra Chalupa, took it upon herself to investigate the connections between Russia and Trump. He said: "I think many people would have held that meeting". "But, really, it went nowhere, and it was apparent this was not what the meeting was actually about".

The next day, Trump lavishes praise on the Agalarovs at the Miss USA 2013 red carpet, calling them "the most powerful people in all of Russia".

Susan Klein, law professor at the University of Texas and a Democrat, doesn't believe Trump Jr could be prosecuted just for talking either - "except perhaps if they paid for it or exchanged it for something". The U.S. intelligence community has concluded that Russian intelligence services, acting at Russian President Vladimir Putin's direction, interfered in last year's U.S. presidential election, and Russia is suspected of having been behind a hack of Macron's campaign weeks before France's recent election.

While these statements on their own aren't damning evidence that Donald Jr. or others in the campaign committed crimes, this interview was meant to clear the air and answer any questions that people might have had about this situation.

"I said, 'Did you do it?' And he said, 'No, I did not". Absolutely not.' I then asked him a second time in a totally different way. In a statement, he said he was releasing the email chain to be "totally transparent".

Scott Balber, an attorney for the Agalarovs, also did not deny the closeness of the relationship between the Trumps and Agalarovs, instead raising a question about Goldstone's credibility.

Macron, who used a translator at points during the conference, said that France and Russia "have a lot of discrepancies" but that it's a necessity to work together to share information "and to try to build solutions". He was specifically referring to "this incident".

The statute outlaws any donation "or other thing of value", which Garrett said could potentially include information.

'I didn't know until a couple of days ago when I heard about this, ' he said. "I think personal relations were established".

'Shame' Meets 'The Conversation' in Next Game From 'Her Story' Creator
It's still a way off though - Barlow is still in the process of writing the story, currently fleshing out the finer details. We can let scenes run and unspool.

Another worry for Trump Jr is that conspiracy law is sweeping. The person spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss Manafort's private interactions with the committee.

"When [President Trump] tells you to do something, guess what - there's no ambiguity in it", Trump Jr. told Fox News on June 10.

Trump Jr. denied he was referencing the Holocaust in an interview with ABC News' George Stephanopoulos.

Trump Jr. called those allegations "ridiculous" and "overplayed".

The conference came after a meeting in which Trump and Macron discussed a range of issues, including strengthening security cooperation and trade. Across the image was the phrase, "The Deplorables". I thought it was funny.
