Introduced as a spiritual successor to Her Story, Telling Lies is another live-action game that will feature higher production values, three to four characters, and will be a "political thriller" this time instead of a juicy tale of murder.

CNN video shows Donald Trump in Vegas with Russian businessmen
President Trump is now travelling to Paris, a city he has openly criticised following extremist attacks in recent years. He told Reuters the administration was "functioning beautifully".

"Imagine Steve McQueen's Shame mashed up with The Conversation" Barlow told, Variety, adding that the 1970s, "Were such a golden age exploring the intersection of government, society and individuals". The different characters will weave different perspectives throughout the game, which is sure to confuse - and hopefully, engage - players. The game was a hit by indie standards, selling more than 100,000 copies, and won several awards including Mobile Game of the Year at the SXSW Gaming Awards and best narrative at The Game Awards. "People playing 'Her Story' were not necessarily people who play video games". We can let scenes run and unspool. Barlow's live-action, filmic technique falls in line with Annapurna's roots in the movie business (the publisher is an offshoot of Annapurna Pictures, which produced Foxcatcher and Her, among others).
